First exploration of the WaveShare OpenEPM1270 CPLD development board and the designer software. The unit uses a USB-Blaster as the programmer. We setup the board, download a few of the examples and modify one of the examples. We also take a look at how the board is laid out and what device pins go the various I/O pins headers and the on-board LEDs and Joystick.
