What does it take to transform a 30-year-old airport terminal into a brand-new facility – one that doesn’t just handle millions of travellers each year, but wows them with breathtaking experiences at the same time? Amid the global Covid-19 pandemic, Changi Airport Group (CAG) embarked on a bold transformation plan to breathe new life into Terminal 2 (T2).
Watch how the various teams from CAG worked with their partners to plan, construct, and bring the newest attractions at T2 to life in this exclusive three-part series.
In Episode 1 of #TransformingTerminal2, go behind-the-scenes to learn how The Wonderfall,a 14-metre tall digital experience was built, panel by panel. Follow the project teams on their journey in constructing two spectacular gardens – the Dreamscape and Gourmet Garden – in the transit areas of the terminal.
