AXIS PNG 1150 - Dockstarts, Glide & Wakethieving - First Impressions

Описание: The expectations for this Foil went threw the roof and It held up to its reputation! Sadly I've been really fatigued at both sessions when I had the chance to try it, but I still managed to pump it over a minute consequently almost every run. So I can't wait to try it out when I'm fit and to see how far and long I can go on it!
The Setup is absolutely stunning! The materials look close to perfection and it's stable af. I think it's the most stable and well-manufactured foil setup (Mast-Fuselage-Baseplate connections etc.) I've had in my hands till now.
The Foil Glides almost endlessly and it feels like releasing the handbrake compared to the Curve XLT by Gong I'm used to. Als while pumping it requires way less power so it feels more effortlessly. However it wants to be a bit faster, which makes it great for covering distance, but a bit more difficult to recover after losing speed rapidly.
Even dough its aspect Ratio and Wingspan you can still carve it quite well. It's not as playful as the Foils I'm used to, but it works! It feels a bit weird in the wakes, as the lift can come from the outside of the Wing when you're going sideways to a wake, which tends to throw you off the Foil. But therefore its super-efficient in small wakes, if they don't get too slow.

Overall: Love it! Wouldn't say its the Holy Grail for me, would say I would really like to own it : )
