This was a monumental show for LA’s underground scene as Blackalicious had just released their album, Nia, and just prior to that had just released their A2G EP featuring the track “Alphabet Aerobics” produced by Cut Chemist, in which Gift of Gab takes us lyrically from A to Z, standing the test of time to remain a cult classic to this day.

Other appearances are Lateef the Truthspeaker and Lyrics Born of Latyrx, Cut Chemist, and Abstract Rude. It was a really dope show… So dope that I filmed too much of it apparently. I only had one tape on me and when I caught them outside with Abstract Rude afterward, I ran out of tape just as I started shooting an interview with them… In case you wonder why it suddenly cuts off so abruptly at the end LOL.
