Mama Used to Be Papa is an upcoming TV series based on the real story of a trans woman who has gone through SRS, marriage, divorce and has two children. The law in Japan does not allow its people to legally change their registered gender. The woman fights for legal change with her fellow trans and non-trans friends. Keiko Toda, playing the leading character, speaks at the press conference. She talks about how we should recognize that some of us people are trans and how we should support them. Good speech, indeed.
