Hello :)
This is the requested transcription I've done of the David Bowie song "Starman" from his 1972 album "Ziggy Stardust". The bass player on this track was Trevor Bolder.
You can find this transcription at Muzento when you sign up with an Intermediate Lesson Plan.
This intro on this song stresses me out.... haha...there's just something about the harmony that just grinds on me. I can't wait for it to be over!
I found the bass really hard to hear in some spots. I'm pretty sure there was some track layering and mixing going on. In the chorus I can hear this ascending line that could be played on the bass, but then the bottom just falls out if you do. In the intro I can hear some faint notes that are really hard to distinguish. I made them "optional" in the score.
Trevor put a nice bouncy rhythmic feel to the verses that I quite like and never really noticed before.
This was fun to learn and play. Thank you for this one N ;)
I hope you enjoy it. Don't forget to "like" and "subscribe" and thanks for watching :)
