The Solar build I'm using in this run is highly effective. Once ignitions are triggered with either Dragon's Breath or the Gunpowder Gamble grenade, you can largely ignore the bosses and focus on clearing ads to maintain your restoration. Regarding weapons, you can swap out the pulse rifle for any other Solar weapon with the Heal Clip perk. The roaming build is flexible and can be adjusted to your preference; I mainly use it for the grapple.
