Cancer patients and their families are raising concerns over what they describe as persistent delays in pre-authorization services at the Kenyatta National Hospital. The patients say system downtimes and long queues are jeopardizing critical chemotherapy sessions. However, Medical Services Principal Secretary, Dr. Ouma Oluga, has downplayed the challenges, while outlining key reforms aimed at improving access, affordability and quality of cancer care.
