I decided to take a break from the RPG development and came up with this after work this afternoon.
It uses a TON of Marketplace assets since I kinda just threw it together and added a bit of polish.
The level in the video was not made for a DMC-inspired action game, so there are quite a few instances where I had to cut around enemies getting caught in trash cans or doorways.
Let me know if you folks are interested in it and I can keep iterating on it to make it better.
OH, Red Hero is a brawler type that uses a Ground Slam ability while Blue Hero is a ranged type that uses focused Energy attacks to pummel enemies from far away. Locking onto an enemy allows you to see their health bar and gives you more range of attacks to do different combos and juggle enemies. You can swap between Red and Blue at any time, even in the middle of combos.
You also have Overdrive Mode, which gives you cool gold armor (but not a robot dragon, sorry) and increases your speed and damage output considerably so you have to build up your Overdrive Meter by attacking enemies and getting higher scores.
