High-Speed Crash Lands Car Onto Tree in Pomona

POMONA, Calif., Feb. 26, 2026 (KNN) – Pomona police officers and the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a solo vehicle crash early Thursday morning on North Garey Avenue, just north of West Holt Avenue.
Upon arrival, responders found a vehicle wedged against a tree on the lot of a church.
The driver was able to free himself from the car and was transported to Pomona Valley Hospital.
The condition of the driver is unknown, and it is unclear if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
