I built a drum sander from scratch — and ran into a lot of problems along the way. Here’s everything I learned so you don’t make the same mistakes!
I used scrap wood pieces from the shop along with an inexpensive drill and some threaded rod. The goal was to make some thin strips of wood. I DIY together a wooden ramp, a wood cylinder and a drill holder to make a thickness sander. It is not perfect, but it does work!
