Announcement of Teaching Excellence Awards 2025

Описание: The Teaching Excellence Awards celebrate excellence in teaching-learning-assessment at Stellenbosch University.

These awards honour colleagues who demonstrate innovative, scholarly and reflective practice shaping their disciplines and the broader learning environment of the university and beyond.

This year, the awards are presented across two categories.

The Distinguished Teacher Award recognises leaderly teaching scholars who demonstrate excellence in leadership, and contributes to the scholarship of teaching and learning towards student success.

The recipient in this category is:

Prof Elize Archer from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences

The Emerging Teacher Award recognises early-career academics who practice scholarly teaching that contributes to student learning and success.

The recipients in this category are:

Ms Na-Ella Khan from the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences
Dr Susan Henrico from the Faculty of Military Science
