This led to a disagreement among the companions, with some supporting the Prophet's request and others opposing it.
Shi'a Perspective:

In Shia Islam, this event is significant and interpreted as a missed opportunity for the Prophet to designate his successor, Imam Ali (peace be upon him), which the Shi'a believe is an important aspect of Islamic succession.

Sunni Perspective:
Sunnis typically interpret Umar's actions as a concern for the Prophet's well-being and the possibility of him being overwhelmed by the situation.

The Outcome:
The Prophet (peace be upon him) eventually instructed the companions to leave, preventing the message from being written.
