Full Spinal Tap Trail, 19 miles and 5k feet drop (Upper Spinal tap and Lower spinal tap Richfield)

Описание: Full Spinal Tap trail in Richfield Utah... Well, it's called Upper Spinal Tap and Lower Spinal Tap... Today I'm going to dive in and show you the best parts on my first run of this very long trail which took me 1 hour and 35 minutes total (1:25 moving time).

A friend of mine asked what I thought about it, here is my response:

It was definitely fun. I would go again. That being said, there are some caveats that you should be aware of. You know how pedally the top of the old Spinal tap was? That's nothing compared to the terrain in the first 13 miles or so. They tried to be creative w/lots of doubles, side hits, gaps and other fun things. There are like 3 or 4 really cool drops up there and a sick steep rock garden. It's very xc up there though (between those things). The cows also really liked the trail and put down some major hoof prints which slows you down even more (first 5 miles or so?). The last 2 or so miles of the new stuff has some really great flow and steeps and big step downs that were amazing. Then some major flow onto spines and ridges. Then it gets into the old spinal tap. So, I really like it. But fortunately my expectations were set when I heard a similar report, so I was actually happy to find all the cool things along the way.
