Trains at London Waterloo, SWML - 11th December 2024

Описание: Hello and welcome to my latest video.
On Wednesday 11th December, I visted London Waterloo station which is situated on South Western Mainline.
I always enjoy been at this station for trainspotting, I was there for a good few hours.
Traffic is very busy with lots of trains coming in and out every minute.
What I love about the station is the architecture of the station, with the glass canopy make it glorious.
And the concourse is more modern and update, with the old Waterloo clock above giving it a nice touch.
Station has lots of great facilities, there is Starbucks, Costa, M&S, cake and pasty stands near the barrier, and there is Mcdonlads lower level.
To kick start the filming I went to the old Eurostar Platform, which feels strange seeing SWR Trains using the Platform, but brings a nice feel going back to my childhood seeing Eurostar at Waterloo in the 1990s.
And Platform and the blue glass canopy is spectacular.
Trains you will see is SWR Desiros 444 / 450, DMU 159, EMU 455s, Juniper 458s.
This video is most likely going to feature 455s for last final time, as I may most likely won’t be coming back to London line again soon before they go next year, but who knows. But capture 455868 BR Blue is a perfect way to have for my final video shot of them.
