Department of Registration and Stamps, Government of Maharashtra has successfully launched its ambitious application e-Registration 2.0. This film depicts the journey of e-Registration which initiated in the year 2013-14. It is a self-help portal allowing registrants register their document from anytime and from anywhere without visiting the Sub-Registrar Office.
It is available in the public domain on Department's website.
Other than Leave and License document, e-Registration service is available to builders/developers to register an agreement to sale of first sale of flats of RERA registered housing projects from their offices.
Citizens can avail this facility only when they are going to purchase a new flat from a builder/developer who is having e-Registration.
