I think the part in 13:49 might be misinterpreted. What I meant with 42 months there is the 'same period' of a thousand two hundred threescore days during the days the two witnesses are prophesying. I did not say it is the 'same time' that during the two witnesses are prophesying the beast was making war with them. The beast made war with the two witnesses and overcame them after the first 42 months.

Revelation 11:3
3 And I will appoint my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.”

Revelation 11:7
7 Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them, and overpower and kill them.

Revelation 13:5
5 The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise its authority for forty-two months.
