Tourette Linzer
Ingredients
200 grams of butter at room temperature
100 g ground almond powder (buyers ready)
200 grams of white flour
100 grams of sugar (half a cup)
1 baking powder (10 g)
Grating orange peel from one orange
Whole Orange Juice (100 ml)
1 teaspoon flat cinnamon
About 340 grams of confectionery berries or cherries
About 50 grams of almonds are sliced
3 eggs 1 yolk
Pattern / ring 26 cm in diameter
Instructions
Turn on a 170 degree oven. Sift 200 grams of flour with baking powder and set aside.
Scrape in a thin scraper peel from whole orange and set aside.
Put about 340 grams of confit in the bowl, mix well and set aside.
Put in the mixer bowl 200 g butter at room temperature and mix medium speed with a guitar hook. Gradually add 100 grams of sugar and mix for 2 minutes. Add 3 eggs. Egg by egg, at least one minute apart (don't put all the eggs in the mixer bowl !!!).
Add 100 g of ground almonds, cinnamon spoon, grate one orange peel and continue to stir. After a minute, stop the mixer activity and add 200 grams of flour and baking powder. Mix half a minute at medium speed, half a minute at high speed and turn off the mixer / mixers until mass is uniform.
Brush a mold in butter, transfer the mass to the mold and pallets. Push the dough into the sides of the mold with a spoon (watch the tutorial video) Pour the confectioners, less spoon on the dough, lower the dough margins on the confectioner, brush the yolk over the edges and put in a baking oven for between 45 and 50 minutes.
After 50 minutes, remove the cake from the oven, brush on the edges with a spoon of confit and sprinkle with sliced almonds.
