Technician vs. Mechanic - What's the Difference?!

Описание: Uncle Eddie here! Today's video is about how can you tell the difference between what is a Technician and a Mechanic! As I explain in my video, a Technician is someone (male or female) who goes to school to study a specific trade skill. Whether it's in automotive, computers, refrigeration, etc etc. They are the ones who you would take your car into the dealership shop, they would diagnose what's wrong with your car and tell you it will cost this much and this much to repair, labor and all that jazz.

A mechanic, according to Henry Ford, a mechanic is someone (male or female) who can fix ANYTHING! A mechanic is someone who can work on the engine or transmission of a car...then head into the house and fix their washer and dryer, to being able to take apart your Window AC Unit and fixing it. A mechanic is more of a self-taught individual. That go-getter who wants to learn to be able to be self-reliant in the world. I myself, fancy myself a Mechanic. Now don't get me wrong, aint nothing wrong with being schooled and learning a specific trade and making that your career. That's all on you, Jack...Keep doing what you're doing.
