sakhi! sunu ika anahoni baat
(O Sakhi! Listen to something astonishing!)
hilimili kaali nikunja manju bich, rahe dou bataraat
(Both Shyama Shyam were talking very animatedly to each other yesterday, in a beautiful, secluded bower.)
auchaka ura sankalpa duhumna ke, bhayo eka sang raat
(Suddenly one night, both of them simultaneously had a thought)
'aju karaun haun maan akaaran' hansina baat badhi jaat
("I will do 'maan' for no reason at all". What started as fun, resulted in both getting actually angry!)
dou kiya maan, na dou manaayeu, taba bhai dou risa gaat
(Both pretended to be angry and neither tried to placate the other!)
kiyo maan sanchehin taba douna, imi hvei gaee parabhaat
(Now, They actually began to show divine resentment and ager and this genuine 'maan' streched out till daybreak!)
sakhina manaavat haari gaeen pai, marama na jaani sakaat
(The Sakhis tried to mollify and appease both, but had to admit defeat, not knowing the secret behind Their 'maan')
puni dou sangahin chale manaavana, aapuhin aapu risaat
(Then again, suddenly getting angry at Themselves, They both simultaneously attempted to palacate each other)
lakhi 'kripalu' dwei gaat chitta ika, acharaja kachhu na lakhaat
(Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj says, "When the mind in those two bodies, is actually one, what is so astonishing about the fact that They would think the same thing simultaneously?")
