MKII on the PC supported the Gravis Ultrasound soundboard as well. The Ultrasound was a soundcard for the PC that was known for it's rich MIDI sound as it uses real-world sound-recordings instead of the FM-generated waveforms used by the SoundBlasters. Thus, MIDI's that took advantage of the Ultrasound had a very rich sound to them. However, support for GUS was much more minimal compared to SoundBlaster. However, a certain amount of games did support it, like MK2. Thus, MK2 has very rich music and sound effects when using GUS compared to the SB.
DOSBox is configured as a multimedia PC with the CPU type set to 486 along with 16MB's of RAM, S3 Trio 32/64 SVGA Video Adapter, along with the Gravis Ultrasound.
