The RSS embraces a xenophobic, supremacist, ethno-nationalist vision for India which views, especially, Indian Christians and Muslims as foreigners whose patriotism is in doubt and who constitute an internal threat to the country and should even be treated as traitors simply because they follow the religion of their choice. RSS founders, including those whose photos are displayed at local HSS meetings, openly praised the European fascists to such an extent that they even pointed to Nazi treatment of the Jews as a good model to adopt towards religious minorities in India. Repeatedly putting this hateful ideology into practice, the RSS has staged many large-scale massacres of Christians, Muslims, and other minorities in India; today, it has become so powerful that international experts are warning that, under the RSS, Indian minorities now face an impending genocide.
Meanwhile, cities like Aurora are gifting the RSS’s international wing with mayoral awards of excellence.
