Born in Germany the shadow of the Bavarian Alps, the Barefoot Man left the busy streets of the US and Nashville for palm trees, sandy beaches and tropical sun when he relocated to the Cayman Islands.

He doesn't know an E flat from an A minor, but he's composed over 2,000 songs and recorded more than 500 and has written two books.

The Barefoot Man is to the Caribbean what Jimmy Buffet is to Key West. In Grand Cayman, where the Barefoot Man is King, everyone knows him as "Barefoot" or simply “Foot”. No visit to Grand Cayman is complete without seeing the Barefoot Man perform.

The Barefoot Man has also traveled to Abaco in the Bahamas to perform concerts more than 30 times in the past twenty years. He is one of the most recognized names in music in Abaco Bahamas where the Barefoot Man is considered a living legend. He has written more songs about the places and people in Abaco Bahamas than perhaps any other entertainer. In Abaco, he is commonly referred to as the Jimmy Buffett of the Bahamas.

His sound is much like that of Jimmy Buffett, Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney and John Prine. His music is often put into the Trop-Rock category, although it’s not rock at all. It is a blend of tropical, country, and calypso.

His popularity comes from his witty lyrics, catchy beat, and the fact that he sings about people and places his fans can relate to.

His popularity in the Abaco, Bahamas, has resulted in fans from all over the world calling out to him to lead a movement to help the people of Abaco.
