Описание: Maia Bailey, Associate Professor, Biology and Director of the Feinstein Institute for Public Service at Providence College as she discusses herbal medicine used by Americans. This presentation focuses on the following central questions: Why do plants make beneficial human medicines? How do they evolve these compounds? What do you need to know to use plant medicine safely? This class may be of particular interest to School Garden Mentors, HotLine and Kiosk volunteers and other MGs helping our community better understand the plant as a living organism beyond its structural appearance.
