Описание: While children were coming home from school watching either CBBC or CITV, older viewers were given a two quiz alternatives which were Countdown on Channel 4 or Catchword on BBC2. During the summer of 1993, a new nostalgia-themed quiz which delved into the BBC Archives and contestants were asked questions on the news, events and programmes that happened on that particular date in any year. This first series was given a 6 episode pilot run in the 5pm slot to see if it would work in the long run. Although this first series is a lot different from the subsequent series you're familiar with. No audience, no tournament format, single-player contestants and a host who was a political pundit for The Guardian.
