"Distant Shape Of You" is a Social Distancing Dance project involving 23 Fusion Dancers from 3 countries and 11 States, all performing to Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You" edited by David Forni of Psyoptics Productions.
The choreographer, Irina Akulenko, taught this dance over several Zoom meetings, then each participant recorded their performance from their personal location. During times of social distancing, being isolated is particularly difficult for dancers. Projects like this, bring us as close to performing together as is possible, in this moment.
