We take the boat west of Key West to explore the remote beaches of the Marquesas - places that are rarely visited and only accessible by water.
Along the way, we anchor offshore and wade in, beachcomb for sea beans and other surprises, and slow things down with a simple meal cooked right on the sand. It's quiet, beautiful, and a reminder of how far you can go with a little planning and a lot of respect for the conditions.
Not everything goes perfectly, though - and one small moment reminds us how quickly things can change out here.
This isn't about rushing or chasing adrenaline. It's about going a little farther, learning as we go, and enjoying the kind of places most people never see.
