Cashew nut farmers are advised to embrace the Parish development Model Project as a pathway to amassing financial muscle required for their operation.
Already a section of cashew nut growers that formed an association with intentions of pursuing the benefits of cashew nut value chain in the country has formed a committee with representatives from key regions; to help in recruiting fellow growers to join the wagon.
This is happening at a time when government is re-energizing grassroot SACCOs through the PDM.
