About Roque Narvaja:
Roque Narvaja (born February 10, 1951, Córdoba, Argentina) is an acclaimed Argentine singer-songwriter and guitarist, known for his influential work in Argentine folk, pop, and rock music. He first gained fame as the founder and leader of the iconic band La Joven Guardia, a key voice of Argentina’s late 1960s music scene.

After launching a solo career in the early 1970s, Narvaja’s politically conscious songwriting led him into exile in Spain, where he achieved massive success during the 1980s with timeless hits such as “Santa Lucía,” “Menta y limón,” and “Yo quería ser mayor.” His music played a significant role in shaping modern Spanish pop.

Returning later to Argentina, Roque Narvaja continues to record and perform, remaining a respected and enduring figure in Spanish-language music.
