But after an exhaustive search turns up no trail, Matt discovers the outlaws never left Dodge at all—they've been hiding right under everyone's noses in Miles' general store, holed up in the upstairs storage loft.
With Kitty's life hanging in the balance and the criminals armed with shotguns, Matt makes a dangerous gamble. He agrees to meet with them unarmed, climbing into their fortress with nothing but his wits. In a tense confrontation surrounded by mysterious sacks of black powder, the Marshal must use every trick he knows to turn the tables on two desperate killers who have nothing left to lose.
