Dr. Lauren Brindisi talked with CFNC dysautonomia patient, Kristie, about living with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) caused by Mold Toxicity, and her experience going through treatment at CFNC.
We see many patients with MCAS as it is a comorbidity of dysautonomia. We work with patients to investigate the underlying factors that may be contributing. This could include food sensitivities/allergies, mold toxicity, chronic infections, neurological dysfunction, gut health, endocrine function, and more. From there we create a treatment plan that is aimed at improving the issues that are found.
