Описание: In this video you will learn how to build an Easy Cheap DIY home made Biological Filter for a Koi Pond for under $100 cost. The same bio filter would also work for a DIY aquarium filter. The koi pond filter setup was designed to replicate a natural wetland and allow for optimum fish and plant conditions. In this filter Rod creates an aerobic system that will breakdown fish waste (Ammonia) and convert it to nitrate for plants to allow more fish to be kept in the pond. The bio filtration system after a few weeks will aid good bacteria to grow on the filter medium for great fish health. This DIY Bucket Filter was built and tested thoroughly in about 3 hours and should require very little maintenance. This Bio mechanical water filtration system is suitable for all small backyard Koi, Goldfish and native fish ponds and water gardens. The bucket filter concept could be scaled up and just as easily applied to other fish pond situations. Its simple to setup & run. All up it cost approximately AU $100 in materials to build. In later videos you will see how I converted my koi fish pond into an aquaponics system to produce food for the family.
