The partnership between Albini_next and and Stony Creek Colors has provided the fashion industry with a groundbreaking solution to the synthetic dyeing problem that causes such environmental damage due to water waste, contamination and pollution.
Together, in a project called “Grounded Indigo” they were able to create a completely natural indigo dye from the “indigofera” plant, cultivated with regenerative farming practices to be included into Albini’s fabric collection. This new natural dye, if used on a larger scale, can have an enormous positive impact on the planet and help fashion companies achieve their sustainability goals.
