The scheme grants free travel to women, girls, and transgender individuals across Andhra Pradesh starting August 15, 2025. Eligible travelers can ride for free on five APSRTC bus categories: Pallevelugu, Ultra Pallevelugu, City Ordinary, Express, and Metro Express—covering approximately 74% of the APSRTC fleet.

To travel, passengers must show valid ID—Aadhaar, Voter ID, or Ration Card—to receive a zero-fare ticket. The pass implementation requires a 15-day processing window after successful application. This announcement provides clear guidance on eligibility and logistics.
