The Harsh Truth Behind Our First Month in a 300+ Year Old Abandoned Irish Manor (HELP)

Описание: Our first winter at Ballinderry has been incredible - not because it was easy, but because of the amazing people who showed up to help.

Over the past year, nearly 50 volunteers from across Europe and America have come to our little Irish estate to help us turn this manor into a sustainable homestead and farm. From building festival stages to chipping wood, laying paths, and yes... getting stuck hauling manure through the mud.

This is the reality of homesteading - sometimes it's beautiful sunsets and fresh eggs, sometimes it's shoulder-deep in muck with your friends laughing at you.

We use platforms like Workaway and WWOOF to connect with people who want to learn traditional skills, experience rural Irish life, and be part of something meaningful. In exchange for help on the land, we provide accommodation in our Coach House, home-cooked meals, and the chance to be part of reviving a 300-year-old estate.

Some stay for a week, others for months. Every single person has brought unique skills, energy, and friendship that's made this dream possible. We genuinely couldn't do this without them.
