In this video, I show you how to disable the auto-off default setting on your grain scale. No more worrying about the system turning off in the middle of weighing your grains and interrupting your measurements. This is a very useful tip for any homebrew setup. I couldn’t find a manual for the Northern Brewer scale online and the Anvil scale manual instructions were confusing. 🫤
Starting with the unit off hold down the Tare button first, and then press and HOLD the On/Off button TOGETHER through the entire start sequence until you see “A ON” - hit Tare button once to change it to “A OFF” and then press On/Off. now your scale will no longer automatically turned off when either on batteries or plugged into wall power.
