Kindred Culture is an organization focused on building community by providing opportunities for people to engage and interact with one another. Kindred (meaning one’s family or relations) is the core of what hip-hop is for us. We hope that through hip-hop dance, fundraising events, and partnering with community leaders, the Kindred Culture will be extended to others.
We value self-expression through all art forms. Our main artistic outlet is dance but we encourage people to engage in any form of artistic expression.
We value education and learning. We encourage youth and young adults to continue their education by attending a Post-Secondary Instiution such as University or College. We also celebrate success in education by recognizing those in our community that have shown an excellent academic standing.
We value community and philanthropy. We encourage people to be involved in their communities and give back to those in need. We encourage people to volunteer and donate their time and money to greater causes.
