🌿 Meghalaya Trip Vlog | Day 2 🌿
Welcome back to our Meghalaya journey! ✨ On the second day of our trip, we started from Dawki after an overnight stay. The plan was to trek to Amkoi Falls, but things didn’t go as expected! 😅
First, we visited the Dawki border 🇮🇳, then headed towards Shnongpdeng to start the Amkoi trek. But we were shocked to know that they charge ₹1500 per person 😮, so we changed our plan and began our trek from Amkoi village instead.
The trek was super challenging, extremely steep, and felt more like climbing than trekking! 🥵 Unfortunately, due to rain, the water at Amkoi wasn’t as clean and clear as we expected. After an exhausting climb back, we reached our parking area by evening and drove to Amlarem, where we stayed in a cozy homestay. 🏡
