I had to give the Middle River another go after a great day of experimenting with new spots. I brought 5 traps out on this beautiful January day and let them soak for 24 hours with chicken as the bait.
WE CRUSHED IT! This was one of the biggest collection of crabs I've seen in years. Needless to say its a good river and you can't go wrong on either of the forks. This trip out I caught well over 30 crabs and more than half were over 7". Awesome day on the water! Grateful for days like these.
