Well that question has been answered thanks to Nano who developed a co-op gamemode for Balatro that allows you to work together to beat another team of players. There is a lot to this gamemode but the main parts are you share scoring, money and even decks and it all comes together to make what is the "funnest" match of Balatro I've had in a long time...

If you are unfamiliar with the Balatro multiplayer mod, it puts to players head to head on the same seed and each boss blind is replaced with a PVP blind where you face off and try to beat the other player score. The first person the run out of lives loses.

Balatro is a poker roguelike deck building game centered around creating powerful synergies and winning with big hands. In it, you can combine valid poker hands with unique Jokers in order to create varied synergies and builds. Earn enough chips to beat blinds, including challenging boss blinds, to make it to the next ante and progress your run!
