Cleaning the rust off the removed suspension components removed from the MG Midget

In this episode we take the suspension components taken from the near-side of our 1973 MkIII MG Midget and remove the rust.
After de-greasing the components they were wire-brushed to remove significant rust and remaining paint and then sat in a rust removal solution (Bilt Hamber DEOX-C).
As kingpin bushes could not be immersed in DEOX-C, the axle was de-rusted using Bilt Hamber’s DEOX-GEL which could be applied to target areas; avoiding contact with the bushes.
To prevent flash rusting after removal of corrosion, the parts were sprayed with ATOM-MAC again from Bilt Hamber Laboratories.

We also start inspection of the removed brake calliper and pads to see if we can clean and service the calliper.
