Have you ever heard of winter sowing?
Grab a milk jug and cut it in half leaving the handle attached as a hinge. Cut some drainage holes in the bottom and fill with at least 4 inches of damp soil. Plant your seeds, seal the seam with duct tape, set outside and let the magic happen!
They act as mini greenhouses that will produce the most hardy seedlings without taking up tons of space indoors. It’s one of our favorite homeschool science activities of the year!
