1 17 Frozen California Zephyr #6 Dynamic Brakes go out Over shoots the platform

Описание: Hey Folks After a Frozen few days of the Zephyr not running , The #5 starting in Denver and #6 ending in Denver. and becoming the #5 the next morning. We finally have a train come through.
This train though had some issues in Denver and Left late. When it did arrive the brake system failed and they over shot the train platform by quite a bit with #51 & #199 P42 DCs. You can hear the Engineer say they had no dynamic brakes and the traction motors were slipping keeping them from stopping in time. Also wanting to know if they needed to back up to get folks dropped off. Dave the Back conductor makes it work with them getting off at the light and directing them to the station. 2 people got off this train. Sounds like there was a no show for a pick up possibly.
With an "All Aboard called " Dave Jumps back in the last car and they call a Highball Fort morgan and head off to McCook.

Interesting train as i have not seen very many times it over shoot the platform like that . this train looks cold coming in with snow and Ice caked on the train.
