Jalandhar’s ‘Maa Boli Punjabi March’ draws huge crowd; Mankirt Aulakh & AAP leaders mark presence

Описание: A huge “Maa Boli Punjabi March” was held in Jalandhar today (Thursday, 26 February), organized by Punjabi Jagriti Manch, with huge attendance from the common public as well as some popular faces from the music and politics industry. Famous Punjabi singer Mankirt Aulakh also joined the march to express his support for the cause of promoting Punjabi language and culture.
Some of the political leaders who attended the march include Deepak Bali, AAP Punjab General Secretary and Advisor to the Tourism Department, and Punjab Cabinet Minister Mohinder Bhagat. The march started from Lyallpur Khalsa School on Nakodar Road at 10:30 am and ended at Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall. To avoid any kind of hassle, the police administration had deployed about 150 police personnel for security and traffic management purposes, diverting some major routes for almost three hours.
