Описание: The American television program Spartacus, which was created in New Zealand, debuted on Starz on January 22, 2010, and ran until April 12, 2013. The actual character of Spartacus, a Thracian gladiator who, from 73 to 71 BC led a significant slave insurrection against the Roman Republic departing from Capua, served as the inspiration for the fictional series. Steven S. DeKnight and Robert Tapert, the film's executive producers, concentrated on organizing the events of Spartacus' obscure early existence before the start of written history.
