Danshen - TCM herb for ALL things HEART & a few cancers.

This herb - Danshen is AMAZING! Used for centuries for the heart, this is one I have in Materia Medica and it's one I recommend to all of my families that have heart issues or clotting issues - as in your blood clots in a bad way.

So Danshen is often used with 3 other herbs (not mentioned in video) --- Okay disclaimer really quickly. This is not meant to replace medical advice, always discuss changes in your treatment with your physician before implementing any changes. Alright, Danshen is often used with 3 other herbs (not mentioned in the video) for conditions like Acute Myocarditis Infarction - these herbs are hawthorn, coleus forskohlii (ayurvedic herb) & valerian.
These will be boiled together to make a syrup instead of taking capsules - I may or may not post a video on this; feel free to email me with questions.

Okay it also helps with Cerebrovascular diseases; stroke, carotid stenosis, vertebrae stenosis, intracranial stenosis, aneurysms & vascular malformations (clots, blockages, etc...)
Other coronary diseases it has been used to treat in the past are atheroscelorsis, thrombosis, angina pectoris. And hypertension.

The cancers Danshen has been used to aid in getting rid of are lung, leukemia, breast, colon, gastric and liver. (there are other herbs & mushrooms that greatly help these too).

According to the Grand Compendium of Materia Medica s. miltiorrhiza (Danshen) matches the heart called Chi (red) Shen. It derives it's name from the color or its root. Harvested in Spring or Autumn ever year. Bitter flavor with distribution to the heart.
Exerts a beneficial action by promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis & assuage pain, clearing heart heat to relieve restlessness & cooling blood to remove carbunkle. In TCM chest pain & heart failure are caused by obstruction of the circulation of Qi & blood.

Danshen improves damaged cardiac angiogenesis & cardiac function induced by myocardial infarction by modulating the HIF1a/VEGFA signaling pathway. It also improves the entire Neovascularization Program - angiogenesis, arteriorgenesis & vasculogenesis & matches the increasing demands of the stressed heart so that the heart is capable of dealing with the challenges without deteriorating into heart failure.
