A major fire broke out at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack, popularly known as Bada Medical, early in the morning. The fire reportedly started in the Trauma Care ICU at around 2:30 AM.
According to initial reports, the condition of more than 10 patients is said to be critical, and hospital authorities along with fire services rushed to the spot to control the situation and shift patients to safer wards.
Emergency teams are working to bring the situation under control, and the exact cause of the fire is yet to be confirmed.
