Описание: This is one of the most unique and sexy songs there is, “Get Your Enjoys,” by under-rated pioneering artist Eunice Davis..

Eunice wasn't only one of the few singers writing her own songs in the 1950s, but also by the time of "Get Your Enjoys," she, along with the 5 Royales' guitar god Lowman Pauling (AKA El Pauling), was half of the house songwriting team at King/Federal. While Davis had very few records out across a smattering of labels, she wrote and waxed what some consider one of the earliest rock'n'roll records "Rock Little Daddy" in 1950 and one of the coolest early Atlantic Records platters "My Beat Is 125th Street," the B-side of the rockin' but less interesting "Go To Work Little Daddy" (1953).

In 1955 she hit the studio backed by one of the best bands of all-time, Pauling's 5 Royales (uncredited here), and captured a supremely sultry and provocative innuendo vocal over a hip swiveling mambo beat punctuated by stops, backing chants, and brassy swells and wails. The result is the spacious and abstract but still loose and organic gem you hear playing. Beyond category! Martian sexbeat!
