I’m finally diving into Resident Evil Requiem, and I’ll be playing through the full game here on the channel, but from a game developer’s perspective.

As both a developer and a longtime Resident Evil fan, I’ll be experiencing the story for the first time while also paying attention to the mechanics, level design, environments, puzzles, lighting, and systems that make these games so memorable.

This won’t be a deep technical breakdown like some of my analysis videos — instead, it’s a full playthrough with developer insight along the way. If there’s enough interest, we’ll continue the entire game together.

Later on, I’ll also be creating separate videos diving deeper into:
• Environment design
• Puzzle systems
• Gameplay mechanics
• Lighting and atmosphere
• How systems might be built in Unreal Engine
