The plane, a Boeing 787‑8 Dreamliner, lost thrust seconds after takeoff from Ahmedabad and crashed into a campus building, killing nearly everyone on board and many on the ground.

With the black boxes already recovered and analyzed, this renewed review aims to resolve lingering questions around the cause of the crash, including why the engines shut down and whether mechanical failure, human error, or design flaws played a part.
